The first 18 holes of Golf Resort Karlštejn were opened in 1993. The project originates from two Canadian golf architects, Les Furber and Jim Eremko. These two architects have been responsible for more than 70 golf courses around the world. Two of the most famous golf courses they have designed for and developed are the "Valderrama" in Spain and the "Varadero" in Cuba. At Karlstejn, a very unique place was created, thanks to a careful, sensitive approach of integrating a golf course into a picturesque countryside, where the romantic scenery comprises of Karlstejn, one of the most famous of Czech castles and the residence of many Czech kings. With hilly landscape containing limestone rocks, rich fauna and flora, the golf course is an oasis of calmness and peace that will gratify the most demanding players.

One of the most beautiful golf resorts in the Czech Republic is situated 40km from Prague. Two 18-hole championship courses and a 9-hole public course accessible to players without a Green Card are naturally incorporated into the rolling landscape surrounded by woods and interwoven with many water hazards and bunkers. In the heart of the golf resort, which was built in cooperation with the PGAE association, you will find the chateau hotel, a golf shop and equipment rental facilities. You can choose from the chateau restaurants Steak House and Tee No. 19 in a reconstructed farm building. You can unwind after golf with a tour of Konopiště Castle, and Jemniště Chateau is also worth visiting. There are 45 holes available in Golf Resort Konopiště. There are two eighteen-hole master courses – Radecký (par 72), d'Este (par 72) and one nine-hole Public course (par 29). Training and practising before the game takes place on the large driving range.

Its location is perfect, close to the city center of Prague, but also to the Václav Havel International Airport (15 minutes). The eighteen-hole golf course meets the highest European standards and is the venue for the "Czech Masters" every August, an event of the European Tour. It has also become a member of the European Tour Destination Club. The club also has a golf academy, the Albatross Golf Academy, with a high quality driving range.
